Beyond clinical rotations, students are taught the mechanics of running a health-related enterprise.
Inventory Management: Specifically for pharmacy technicians to manage drug stock levels and expiration dates.
Financial Literacy: Understanding overhead costs, profit margins for medical services, and basic bookkeeping.
Regulatory Compliance: Navigating NAFDAC, PCN (Pharmacists Council of Nigeria), or state health board requirements for licensing.
2. Digital Marketing & Branding
In a competitive healthcare landscape, students learn how to build an online presence safely and ethically.
Social Media Strategy: Using platforms to provide health education while promoting services (e.g., a wellness brand or a community clinic).
